What are the odds that the same player would be personally responsible for the 2 most critical plays at the end of that game? It was like fate was allowing him to set up his run to greatness if I can get a little over the top.

Kind of like the '72 IB where the same guy blocks both punts and the other same guy runs both into the end zone?

Well he is a defender and the runner had broke into the secondary so there's a pretty decent chance he would be one of the guys in position to make the play. Plus all he did was escort a guy that was already going out of bounds out. If it had of been some amazing tackle or pass deflection etc... it would fit your narrative much better.
