The obvious choices would be Bama, AU, UGA, Arky IMO, as far as, producing a combination of quality and quantity in RBs.

What is your opinion?

LSU has just as good of an argument as any of those, except prob AU

I think AU is RBU of the SEC

Auburn has produced a ton of good tailbacks in the last quarter century. Bo, Ronnie Brown, Cadillac, Ben Tate, Dyer, Mason, et al.

I'd give the edge to Auburn because of ridiculous consistency from at least Bo to the present (save a few years here and there).

Alabama has competed well for that title recently.

I think LSU is behind them.

Arkansas? I know they had an all-time great in McFadden, but I don't think they come close in this conversation. Am I missing something about them?

ETA: Not necessarily recently, but yes UT has been up there in the RB department as well, particularly during the Fulmer years.

If someone wants to add NFL 1000 yard rushers per school, that'd be cool

Goes to Auburn IMO.
Don't think we will ever see another team put 2 running backs in the same draft and they both get drafted in the top 5.

What time frame? We talking college performance only, or what they do in the pros as well?

Let’s modify the requirements for RBU.

How many NFL 2k yard rushers? UGA and Tennessee

Tie breaker, Super Bowl MVP = UGA (Terrell Davis)

Florida has the NFL's all-time leading rusher...

and also Fred Taylor, the 15th leading rusher in NFL history.

I think that by itself merits some discussion.

Some more recent guys (not exactly studs): Earnest Graham, Deshawn Wynn.

Current NFL players: Jeff Demps, Mike Gillislee, Chris Rainey.
