I thought Ice would have been a cool (SWIDT) direction to go in from a recruiting standpoint but I'm glad we got someone who has proven he can coach DBs well. We still got Shannon for Florida right now and Ice is starting to get pretty cozy with 2Beez it seems.

Ice's son is a Gator. I'll take that over Ice going to the buffet once a year with Bert.

As I stated earlier this year, I don't understand why Arky doesn't put more effort into recruiting that area. Their 2014 class had two kids from the entire state of Texas: two three starts from the Metroplex.

But 6.5 million in the Metroplex and 26 million in Texas tells me there's got to be more than enough decent players that Bert should be able to get. Texas produces half as many NFL players as Louisiana does (per capita) but it's still more than Arkansas produces per capita.
Big Game Bob signed 7 kids from Texas. Surely Bert can do better than 2.

not gonna lie, I'm glad we got a guy with a lot of connections in the state to help recruiting Texas. There are quite a few good recruits from there. But I'm glad bert put's more emphasis on Florida and Louisiana prospects
