Anyway this is a good hire for Arkansas but Clay Jennings moved on as it was a personal move.

Gary Patterson will always be in charge of the secondary, and safties coach Chad Glasgow is defensive coordinator in waiting once Dick Bumpas retires. So Clay Jennings was really never going to move above corners coach so this was the right move for him if he has higher ambitions whether it be being a coordinator or having more say and control over the defense/secondary

All TCU did at the corner position was run one on one man

Given that most of us thought we were either gonna hire a Florida High School coach or promote a 24 y/o GA, I'll fricking take it

He said as much in his introductory press conference tonight. He said that he wants to be a DC one day and he knows that will never happen just being in charge of corners. He said that he wanted to go somewhere where he could have the entire secondary so he could prove himself and move up.
