AU 2014 = TAMU 2013...True or False?

TAMU surprised alot of people in 2012, were considered a NC contender heading into 2013 and flopped going .500 in SEC play. I'm guessing AU loses 3 in 2014 and the Gus Bus comes back down to earth pretty quickly. AU meltdowns this coming season will be epic and their sweet tears will flow on this board like milk and honey in the promised land.

False. Our Defense will improve unlike the 2013 A&M defense which fell off a cliff.

Losing 3 is totally possible, and wouldn't really be comparable to TAMU.
But 0-2 losses is probably more likely.

Nah we are still have yours stockpiled and with the current rate of your production, the board will be full for years

three losses is not that big of a deal, could have easily happened last year.

They'll lose 2 games minimum
3 if Georgia puts it together quickly

Well considering TAMU did not win the SEC, nor make the NC, and had a returning Heisman winner, your entire premise is false. I wouldn't expect any less from you.

We lived through 2012 three losses would be nothing.

Losing to Gus and Big Game Bob really messed you up.

I'd be happy if TAMU 2014 = Auburn 2013

impossible. gus is a genius. they don't need defense. no one can figure their offense out. they will dominate college football here on out. saban is dead. a dinosaur.

Main thing I see in common between the two teams is they both beat Alabama.

AU played for a NC. Aggies haven't sniffed that instance since Jesus inhabited the earth.
No comparison. AU cheats but they can win some championships eventually. Aggies are perennal pretenders.

quote:First and foremost, this just screams ignorance... Auburn went 12-2 in 2013, why would losing one more game and possibly ending the season 10-3 or 11-3 bring Gus Malzahn and Auburn fans back to Earth?

Auburn returns every meaningful starter outside of Tre Mason, Greg Robinson, Chris Davis and Dee Ford. Dee Ford played most of the season hurt and even missed games, yet he is replaceable due to our great defensive line recruiting. Tre Mason and Greg Robinson were virtual unknowns to the SECRant in terms of their top notch ability. Chris Davis was an above average cornerback that was an even better playmaker. And, all in all, Auburn returns the majority of their two deep and added playmakers that can start over previous starters on offense and defense.
If you expect anything other than a superb (10 wins or more) season for Auburn, prepare to be disappointed.
