I'm wondering now if the "Dear Chicken" letter from D.X. Bible was just made up.

Somewhere in those first 40 pages someone said the guy that found the letter was legit.

Apparently Harrison Allen, the guy who found the letter that belonged to his great grandfather, doesn't even know this Barnes guy. I'm assuming that since Barnes posted the letter on TA, Sam Kahn used him as a way to find out how/when/where this letter came from. It'll probably be a while until we find out Sam Kahn's side since his wife just gave birth to their first child .

This Barnes guy is becoming an internet legend...and not in a good way.

Wow, just got done reading all 53 pages on it. Looks like it would be even longer but mobs locked it at 10 this morning.

I appreciate it. Been a looooooong week. All my childhood dogs got buried in the back yard but we don't have the room here and the HOA would probably throw a hissy. But we get his ashes back tomorrow.

So... my daughter is a senior at LTU. I know (or at least strongly suspect) that she doesn't care at all about basketball. I need to make her care and then crush her dreams. SafetySam suggested a clothing bet, like I wear pink pantyhose to work for a week if the Ags lose. Personally I have a fondness for pink pantyhose, so that doesn't seem like much of a bet. What say you? I need to draw her in, and keep in mind that I absolutely don't get embarrassed, so over-the-top is good if it tempts her.

And you do realize that you could very easily lose this bet?

Of course! I just want to get her riled up. Win/lose doesn't matter. You of all people know I won't be embarrassed.

If the Ags win and Temple wins, then we play @ Temple on Wednesday night, which means I would get to go.

See, that's why you should devote more attention to the Amelia caper. For good luck or something.

Heh. Fill up your bathtub, pour a few buckets of sand in, add a heating lamp, and you're all set. Save yourself a lot of grief.

I had a wonderful vacation last spring during HS spring break with my missus to S.A. Had a great time and thought SeaWorld would be a fun day. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Not realistic enough. Water needs to be extra murky.

San Antonio is a trippy weird place. I swear I've never seen a bigger concentration of Gothic looking kids, butchy women and tattoos outside of San Antonio. I'd be very interested to see the butchy women per capita statistics. SA has to be top 3 nationally minimum.

It was at the annual cholopalooza known as Oyster Bake. I think I saw 4 fights break out in the span of 4 hours (one of them had bottles flying ) and spotted 2 pregnant women (or so they looked) with a bottle of beer . But let's stop kidding ourselves, outside of the fluent north NORTH part of SA and the area around the military bases, the city peeps are all the same for the most part.

I guess its the culture. Its obvious that the entire Hispanic population of SA is just 'different'. They are not like the Hispanic population of DFW, Austin or Houston.
