Just talked to vice chancellor for facilities yesterday about whats in the works

Redo mullins, remove stacks and make more student study area + coffee shop

Interior renovation of Memorial Hall ibcluding tearing out mezannine to restore original ballroom as a classroom. Also install original light fixtures and chandaileers

$18m addition of another wing to John White Engineering Hall

New entrances to campus at all entry points - "thresholds" in UA speak

Widening of razorback road will begin this summer (actually utility relocates are underway now) to Leroy pond. Next is maple from garland to razorback. This will put pressure on everyone to complete the part by the stadium which will be very difficult to construct and very expensive. Huge retaining walls are required and that part alone will cost $6 million

That's great. Mullins definitely needs an interior renovation, and a coffee bar is long overdue. It was a PITA to go to the Union if you wanted coffee or a drink, so a coffee bar and study areas are pretty good.

Of course, nothing was better than just holing up into one of those random study areas upstairs throughout the stacks and knocking out some work.

As for the gates, those are great and necessary additions. I always felt like for such a grand campus, we essentially had no grand entrances. I really like the Pi Phi gate.
