We were one batted-down ball away from whipping this year's SEC Champs at their place.
Everyone's coming back except our QB who has been in the program for four years and got some quality playing time in at the end of the season.
Our defensive and special teams coaching just got an upgrade (can't be worse) and we recruited well.
Pre-season #8 sounds about right to me.

Even when Georgia is under the radar they're not under the radar. Dammit.

#8 is probably about right from a talent perspective. If Mason doesn't suck it up and Pruitt can give us a top 20 defense I think we are good enough to win the east on the back of Gurley and our other skill position players. Don't frick it up Mason.

I feel like we're always ranked 8th in the preseason. It's like the default.

I feel we might be ranked a little high, but the branding of UGA sells advertising so its understandable in some ways why they would do that.

They just keep sticking Oregon up there and hoping.
