crimsonian Auburn Signee arrested If you legalize it, the sellers will just sell something else for the money. Won't change the crime.
I understand your point but I don't think there is anything with the demand of Mary Jane to replace it. Lots of people smoke weed.

A deputy smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana and upon searching the vehicle found four bags of marijuana totaling 202.5 grams underneath the driver's seat and front passenger seat. Bessent was sitting in the front passenger seat.

If convicted on all three charges, Bessent could face up to 11 years in prison, according to Florida state law. He faces five years on each felony charge and one year for drug paraphernalia.

If he is a first time offender he will likely just end up with a suspended sentence and get probation for a couple of years with fines.

The point is if the deputy smelled it, then Bessent can't claim he didn't know it was present in the vehicle.

this is bullshite since Colorado and Washington players don't have to play by the same rules.
well Tyrann would have been fine smoking that synthetic stuff (which is legal) at almost any other school besides LSU.. sometimes it is also a school policy..

it's so fricking easy to NOT get arrested for drug possession...these kids are morons if you have it in the car, you obey all traffic laws if you're smoking it, smoke it in the privacy of your own home I don't get it
How about when you do all that, or you are riding clean and the cop pulls you over and plants drugs on you? How can you prevent that?
LINK
It doesnt just happen in the NYPD, a case came out recently in GA where cops where strip searching innocent people and sticking their hands in their underware, and one cop planted drugs on this one guy, that later video footage proved the cop did it.

No. Synthetic marijuana or spice or whatever you want to call it is illegal in Louisiana.

Sweet looking kid. Is that a grill he's sporting?

since I'm the resident n.e. Florida marijuana arrest guru... as long as his current charges and priors don't exceed 31 points on his score sheet he will be looking at 18-36 months max of drug offender probation. I've seen this countless times done it a couple lol. I also was arrested shortly (2 maybe 3 weeks) after signing my NLI, luckily I was still 17 and it was a MIP.

LSU policy is team vote if the player is a starting running back.

You are devoid of facts..... again. Only one came back and the other players said he never hit the kid but failed to stop it. That is why he was punished. You should get the facts and then not look so uninformed.

Glass house my man
Most fan bases on here live in glass houses when it comes to stuff like this. Never really saw the point of it, it's going to happen to your team.
That being said, this is a surprising amount of stupidity for even a high school senior. If you just must go and buy a frickton of weed then you hide it and drive like an old lady till you get home - you don't smoke some in the car.
Pot laws are generally ridiculous, but if you're this dumb (allegedly), eh. At best, he didn't speak up and inform his colleagues that they weren't acting in an appropriate manner.

You think the weed of today just involves throwing a seed in the ground and then bam!!!???
But I agree, weed should be completely legalized.

UGA's tough drug policy dissuaded young Kalvaraz Bessent from signing with the Dawgs and steered him in another direction.
Since we don't oversign every slot is critical in nature and it looks like Alabama & UGA dodged a bullet here.
Tough break for the Tigers losing a scholarship slot for the season.

He did Au a favor by being stupid before he stepped foot on campus. Woulda been a poison on the team. Should be easy to cut this one loose.

Finger prints will be interesting. Yes you can be in a car and not know about everything in the car. The driver has zero excuse. Did they go to Florida to purchase? If yes, they are all hosed.
He can apply for youthful offender.
Doubt he is allowed to enroll.
