I read 1 recap from the Opening that said Cotton struggled outside and another that said he did well there. The clips I saw were mainly of him inside but he looked great on the 6 or so reps I saw of him on the outside.

A lot of visitors coming in to town this weekend and early next week particularly 2016 recruits. Maybe we will finally get a 2016 commitment. Any guesses on who might pull the trigger?

He has retweeted a couple Bama fans and a picture or two about Bama. I wish we had a realistic shot at him.

I don't follow recruiting that much only from what I hear here, but a friend of mine who stays in Christian Kirk (the WR from Arizona) area says that Alabama is the school he wants to go attend, has anyone else heard this?

I think he visited about a month ago but didn't hear much after that.

He was one of the players that really stood out to me in The Opening. Was the go-to receiver on his team and I think I read where he had 8 TDs on the 1st day

ETA: he visited us in late May, but left us out of his top 10 a few days later

The difference now is that we have Barnett on board, and per TSWSNBN Christian Kirk and Barnett are close. They both train with same coach in Arizona, Dennis Gile.

Nice. Ridley, Charlot, and Kirk would be a helluva WR haul. Have to wait and see though. He visited us, Auburn, UGA, and UTn on the same trip. We're the only 1 of the 4 that didn't make his top 10 so I'm thinking he wasn't blown away on his visit

Does anyone else feel like there is the potential for us to turn into a pass heavy team in the next few years? The amount of talent we'll have at WR is looking insane. Here's to hoping Cornwell/Barnett live up to the hype...

Hopefully, it becomes an offense similar to USC's in the mid 2000s.

Nope, the rb talent is just as good. We will remain balanced to achieve the goal of ball control.

IMO it doesn't really matter if the O is pass-first, run-first, or balanced. It all comes down to execution. But I do think having an identity on O is important and that's something we lacked last year.

According to Eric on TSWSNBN, Calvin Ridley is an early enrollee.

Unless I'm just reading it wrong, it appears Jacques Patrick is on campus for a visit.

Charles Power said he was giving off some "pro-Bama" vibes at the Opening.

Power also thinks he is our best bet as a second RB in this class.
