Hopefully. Besides Leo and JUCO guys, when was our last commitment from Mississippi (even if he didn't sign)? I can't remember.

Gary is the #1 overall player on Scout. He's the prize in the 2016 class.

TAMU247 reports that Lockhart may commit to TAMU this coming weekend. Charles from BOL also picked him to go to TAMU because of a lack of room at Bama.

Rod Woodson was in the 2009 class. That class had Anthony Steen and Kevin Norwood. I think Faciane was in the 2011 class. Bo Davis left for Texas after the 2010 season. It seems we've struggled in the state of Mississippi until he came back.

Our Mississippi problem is overblown. They have few prospects and the MS schools have high stakes to keep them. Plus they disproportionately academic concerns. Our best players seem to come from AL, FL, and LA. Probably no surprise that almost all national champs come from those states.

We have had too many great players over the years from Mississippi to not do our due diligence in that state.
