First off, frick the SEC

The fact that the conference made us play the game last night in the middle of the worst Baton Rouge freeze in years is ludicrous. The conference is making their best effort to keep the best basketball programs at the top since we are currently not considered a power league. Of course the bullshite SEC referees tried their very hardest to keep Kentucky in the game. But despite these ridiculous attempts to give Kentucky a chance to win, LSU pulled through.

Second, frick Kentucky Basketball

When is this one and done circus going to end? How does the NCAA allow these "student athletes" to go and "study" for a year when in reality its to springboard their NBA careers? All the hype surrounds Kentucky and their latest and greatest recruiting class every year and they hardly ever come together and perform to expectation. And don't even mention the 2012 Nation Championship. We all know that will be vacated very soon. And what the hell is the deal with Kentucky's traveling basketball fans? Do you not have work on Tuesday or Wednesday? Enjoy coming all this way to watch your team of high school superstars get embarrassed on national tv?

Finally, frick you John Calipari

This is the greasiest scumbag in all of sports. Every program he left has gone up in the flames of NCAA sanctions. Just wait Kentucky, your next and its only a matter of time. This is on the beginning. Calipari's on court behavior is a downright disgrace. Physically pushing a player into position during a game is not only against the rules but just wrong. We all saw what happened to Mike Rice, physically abusing his players. Calipari stands on the court and gets away with it more than anyone I have ever seen. The way he conducts himself is embarrassing to the university of Kentucky and the SEC. Clean it up man

Despite the BR blizzard, despite the greatest recruiting class ever assembled and despite all other bizarre conditions for last nights game, our fans showed up and rallied our team to pulled off the upset. The PMAC was alive once again and the legend of the Sneaux Dome was born. C'mon everybody, tell me how Kentucky will kill us in Lexington. With the amount of talent assembled, they should never lose a game and quite frankly its embarrassing when they do. Fact of the matter is, Calipari can only bring in the talent. It takes a real coach to develop his players and have them play as a team.

Last night was a statement game for our program that despite our losses this year we are no longer a cellar dweller of the SEC. LSU basketball under Coach Johnny Jones is on the rise.

Closing note: The best part of the game last night was when Anthony Hickey nailed the step back 3 and gave Calipari a nice long stare.

You realize this UK team lost to Arky, right?

You need to simmer down.

Schedule complaints - check
Ref complaints - check
Conspiracy beliefs - check
Lost to Alabama - check

It was not a decision by the conference. It was a decision agreed upon by both UK and LSU.

Are you sure? With all that talent on the roster, what Jones has accomplished is nothing to write home about. I think LSU has vastly under-performed.

In 2003 on February 15th LSU played UK in Rupp Arena and what wound up being one of the worst winter storms in the history of Central KY. Some folks in the area lost power for 2 weeks and it affected between 100,000 and 200,000 area residents. Ice brought down trees, phone, power lines, and caused all sorts of problems. Games got played and some concert still went on. Not sure if it is the SEC as much as the money of any event drives it not being cancelled.

Classy act dude! Did you forget that you won? And there are people on here bitching about WildcatMike's meltdown - gimme a break!

By the way. I figured the game went on as scheduled because it was the ESPN lead opposite the State of the Union Address and they did not want it cancelled. ESPN went to great lengths at the start tell us how safe everyone was... Anybdy else think that?
