Graduates in May

NCAA bylaws allow a graduate to transfer with no penalty. I'm not quite sure about participation in upcoming spring practice though.

That would make sense. Kiffin will have his work cut out for him no doubt, trying to catch the kid up in a short time.

Coker will be interesting to follow to say the least. Just from the little bit I read about him and the few video highlights I've watched he seems like a pretty good QB. He ran the Wing-T in high school and used his legs a ton. It will be real interesting to see how he reacts to being the full time starter at a major program. Much like Mett in his first year at LSU.

Something like that. He had to finish out through May and didn't get into Auburn till June iirc

Nick wasn't on campus until the first of August, right before fall practice started. He missed all of the summer workouts.

I think this is where his athletic ability will help. I wouldn't be surprised if he is told to tuck and run a lot more early on in the year as starts to gel into the offense.

We have seen some zone read when Blake Sims comes in. It will be interesting to see how much of it we see with Coker under center.

I think the reason a lot of us are confident in him being able to succeed is based a lot on the skill players surrounding him. There are not that many teams with the amount of talent we have at RB, WR, and TE.

FSU's first string QB was garbage against us with superior weapons and likely against a worse AU D than any Coker would face over the next two years.

The best QB in your history couldn't beat AU in year one of Gus.

But yes, I'm trembling.

It's so terribly delusional, isn't it? I'm not an AJ fan by any stretch, but bama fans are completely fooling themselves if they think that his experience, consistency, and leadership won't be sorely missed. That's fine. They'll just have to learn the hard way.

Coker could come in and make memories of AJ disappear, but wait until he has taken a meaningful snap inside the program before claiming anything. not saying all bama fans are doing so, though
