Anybody know what the rotation is supposed to look like this year? I imagine Koger and O'Neal will be starters again. I am curious to see who the 3rd guy is

I would imagine we will throw O'Neal on friday and Koger on sunday. The three guys I look to take that saturday spot will be Kevin Davis, Rocky McCord, or Trey Wingenter.
Terrance Dedrick will close again for us and I expect Trey Cochran-Gill to be the primary setup guy.

Indiana St. on Vallentines Day
tOSU Feb 15th
UConn Feb 16th
I think the ISU-tOSU game on the 15th is a typo.
Nevermind. You edited the OP

Yep that is what I was talking about. I should probably quote what I am responding to. Also I think the ISU-OSU game is a typo. But you never know.

Golloway said this about Keegan Thompson in the fall and you didn't even list the guy
quote:
"Keegan is going to have to swing it for us," Golloway said. "He's going to have to play first or DH. He's definitely going to be on the mound on the weekends. He's just too talented."
Come on man He's clearly without a doubt our best all around player and pitcher and he proved it in the open fall practices.

I saw that and stand by what I said. I wouldn't be surprised if Keegan was in the rotation. I just dont think he will be.

I'm just laughing that he didn't even include him on his list when Golloway has said he will definitely be pitching on weekends.
Here's what we know: 1) Keegan is the most talented player on the team and it's been proven. 2) Mike ONeal is the only returning pitcher with consistency and a known commodity. 3) There are 3 weekend rotation spots.

"We are going to win right now"
Per AUC.
quote:
“Rather you liked them or not, you’ve got to give them credit. Those guys did a good job recruiting some really good student athletes,” he said. “That’s one of the things you’ll never hear out of my mouth is, ‘When I get my guys.’

Anyone expect us to make regionals this year? I don't know a heck of a lot about college baseball but the Galloway hire seemed like a great hire at the time and I am excited. He also isn't giving himself slack by saying we are going to win now and these are "his" players

Yes, but anyone expecting much more than that is going to be disappointed. If the young pitchers contribute we can be solid. If not, we will suck again, really pretty simple.

Short answer no. Long answer, the coach and player believe they will make it to Omaha. I think we have a shot. We will have a respectable RPI and if we go .500 in conference I think we make a regional.
I think as long as we get 33 wins we make a regional. But that will be no short order.
