3 weeks of good football can't erase 5 years of mediocrity.

He's not Chizik without Cam/Gus bad or anything but without Dak he's as average as it gets.

His win against us is the only win he has in his career against a team that finished a season or is currently ranked in the top 20 in 5 1/2 years of coaching.

Yeah but he recruited Dak and signed him. That D Line is pretty stellar and J Robinson is a pretty damn good running back. shite your like the other fans talking about Auburn success. How pathetic.

I am not going to discuss anymore in here about Mullen though. You can have your opinion. I don't think he is awesome but deserves the praise. He built the team that is playing this year.

"Average" doesn't win 7+ games at MSU for what will soon be 5 years in a row (3 of those being 8+ win seasons). Its not like the SEC West was "down" during that time frame either. I don't think he's elite or anything, but to argue that he isn't a good coach is foolish considering what he has done at a bottom-feeder school. From 2000 to 2008 Sherrill and Croom posted a combined 7 seasons in which MSU won 4 or fewer games. 6 of those 7 seasons were 3 win or fewer seasons. To take that pile of shite and mold a winning team is highly impressive, period.
