Per KN's interview with Kendrick Norton Miami and UF are standing out the most to him right now but he does want to try and make an AU game this fall.

despite popular opinion on this board that can not even be assessed til NSD when all the players are signed.

I probably have a different view than most but I don't think we need the high ranked players on the DL in this class that most on this board want and many teams need. Sure I want them but they are not needs. This is because Garner plays more DL than anybody in the nation on a per game basis to get the most production out of each player's snaps. Theerefore Garner just needs to sign 4 or 5 guys this year that he feels is quality and give 10-15 good snaps a game regardless of player ranking. Garner is behind in the relationship department with the top DL recruits for the 2015 class because relationships with the big timers are a 2 year process at minimum and Garner spent most of his time and energy last year fixing the then problem of coaching the horrible habits out of the DL on the team because he felt fixing the current player problems was more important than recruiting. He will be caught up with the 2016 DL guys in the relationship department though.

Everyone knows coaches don't recruit based on prior recruiting classes. That would be so silly of them.

Brani, normally when you troll it at least is better than this. Here are some previous posts of yours about this topic indicating that you bring in previous classes. Yes Garner has sucked in this class but your criticisms have been of previous classes of which he has done a good job

It's not BS. It's reality whether you want to believe it or not. He was in fact new to a lot of the recruits he has to bring in for AU's 4 man front as opposed to UGA's 3 man front. For the most part you recruit different kinds of DL for a 4 man base front to a 3 man base which is what Garner was under at UGA. The only DL that translates to both styles is the nose guard in the 3 man front to a 0 technique DT in a 4 man front. While at UGA Garner was likely not establishing relationships with guys that would be DEs and the 3 technie DT in a 4 man front D. An example of a top AU DL target in this class that was not a DL target at UGA is D'Andre Walker. He's is a smaller guy out of HS that draws comparison's to Dee Ford out of HS. AU wants DW at DE while if UGA was recruiting him when Garner was there it would have been LB and Garner likely was not the recruiter. As it is now UGA is recruiting him as a hybrid LB/DE but my bet is Pruitt is just tell him that to try to land DW as he wants to play DE not LB.

I don't see anyone being bitches. Looks like a civil recruiting discussion with differences of opinion to me.

Prospects also probably want to see what we will do this year on D. It really isn't all that hard to understand.

We are still way ahead of where we have really ever been with regards to recruiting.
