i know...games over they lost anyways but crap like this pisses me off. you have 2 refs looking right at this and NOTHING! So why even flag our RB for a throat slash not aimed at the bench of the opposing team?

Agreed. I do this every day at work when I finish drinking from my Solo cup at the water cooler. People make a big deal about it (because I'm a Bama fan).

I don't either, I think all celebrating if it doesn't delay the progression of the game and isn't taunting should be fine.

because its a penalty to do a throat slash, its one of the gestures they have tried to actively get rid of

That 'taunting' call on FSU was an abortion in a game of these stakes. Had a very real impact on the game.
