When you have the best QB in the country and all you have to show for it is a close win in the Chicken Bowl against Duke, you suck. A&M is doomed.

I foresee A&M finishing sixth in the west next season.

This could change if Aggie finds a defense. Heads up Aggy, you need a defense to be successful in the SEC.

False. Mack Brown was paid the same the last four years for worse results. The value of money is relative to your region.

Here's the story of his coaching career:

1. Case Keenum
2. Johnny Manziel

2 of the best QB's in NCAA history. I wanna see him coach a team with no superstar QB

If Sumlin's employers were willing to make the offer they made and to negotiate the contract as they did, (a) how is that "overpaying" him; and (b) why should anyone (outside of the respective parties) care?

Threads like this one are head-scratchers; but then again, I've never been one who gives much thought to other people's business.

Sumlin took over a middling Big 12 team, joined the toughest division in all of football, and over the last two years has the same number of wins as Les Miles... who was coming off a natty game appearance, whose state supposedly has the best talent per capita in the history of the world, the greatest offensive coordinator to ever choose footbsll over curing cancer and a defense that can supposedly see no dropoff after watching 9 underclassmen leave early.

In a purely quantitative world yes but there are signs that support why things are the way they are. Plus in the world of A&M and money the price is nothing, negligible, nada, pocket change. We have two airports.
