If you like wine, then spend some time around Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez area. Solvang is a Danish looking town that has some good restaurants and other stuff.
Enterprise fish co in Santa Barbara was a fantastic place back in the day. I would suspect it still is.
Monterey Bay
Carmel (Say hi to Clint Eastwood)
Morro Bay
Pismo
San Luis Obispo
Hearst Castle
You will be seeing some awesome scenery and one of the best drives in America imo. Can get crowded at times, but worth the drive.

Thanks man. I am hoping to spend some time looking everything up on Sunday afternoon.. Im really looking forward to Big Sur..
