I wasn't going to be born for another few months, so I definitely didn't know how close we were to one that year.
We'd still be 30 years removed from a championship even if that went our way, though. I'd like something a bit more recent, like one from last year.

We went into the game (11-0) #1, and Penn State (10-1) #2. Winner take all.
