So we are supposed to believe that Saban is no longer a candidate because he agreed to a contract extension.

I think Gus is very happy at Auburn. He was on a staff that won a NC. He has coached another team to the NC game. He has seen he can win a NC at Auburn. He is a small town guy and Auburn is a wonderful small southern town. I think there is ZERO % chance Gus goes to Texas.
