They had multiple lotteries in 2010. Those people realize they can't sell tickets and never pick them up

I didn't win the lottery for the 2010 SEC Championship or the National Championship when I was at Auburn for my 5th and final year. But my little sister won both somehow. Pissed me off a little, but I was able to go to both.

Rumor is they are giving the tickets that aren't picked up to alumni.

People don't know anything. I may call the ticket office today to find out. There were multiple lottos in 2010 though

People calling the ticket office is where the rumor came from.

They are more likely to make offers to the paying donors at the monetary levels below the current cutoff like they do with every bowl game.

Just called. They are undecided they said and it has to do with the number of tickets left over and if it makes sense to do an additional lottery.

Paying donors are pretty much what's meant by "alumni" when talking about tickets.

Good to hear.

This is the thing that bugs me the most. It is all my loaded friends who already booked eveything because they told me "I'm going to just get tickets if I don't win" that got the lottery
I was worried about scrounging 300$ together to buy the ticket if I wont the lotto and these guys win
So is life. I mean not like I deserve it more because I can't afford a 1k$ ticket. Just annoying the attitude some of my friends walk into the lotto with

This was my only conceivable shot to get one. Luckily I did. I'll be scraping my money together to fund this thing. I have no clue how I'm even getting out there...

Way to go is book into Vegas then there are buses someone posted that was going about 65$ geared towards AU alumni.
Flight from ATL, 300$ -> Vegas. 170$-> atl
Look on frontier and southwest they are the best.
Living social has deals for Vegas hotels
By far the cheapest way to do this

I booked flight for myself and my daughter on Southwest, round trip was less the $1000 for both of us. Brother lives in Vegas, which is nice and we're driving over the morning of the game. GC if you work it out let me know and you can ride with us if you need to.
