Serious question. Even the announcers have brought it up multiple times. All the UK fans watching the Coaching Changes board?

Gotta give 'em something to get excited about I suppose. It's been a bit of a lull of a game.
ETA: Jay Bilas has to have something to talk about.

All Kentucky fans are on SECR/Coaching Changes Board.
Oh, and the obligatory "He gone" and "It's Happening" Sorry.

You watching the game? Our team looks bored. I'd say the fans probably are. I may get hammered for saying this, but unless you are at a big game (UL, UNC, Fla....)the atmosphere at Rupp Arena is overrated IMO.

FWIW, I don't know many arenas that get up even for the Boise State's of the world. Maybe The Pit (New Mexico) or someone like that.
Just got plenty loud on that Young slam though.

I hear you, but any arena can get up for the big games. Why is Rupp that special of an environment outside of that?

Mostly it's the experience. The following and what not. To say it's not a special environment is a disservice IMO. Especially if you've been to some other schools that don't take basketball quite as serious.

I hear you. I guess I've been there so much it just seems like it's declined over the years. I enjoy going to football games more than basketball. I guess the crowd pans are pretty amazing with the 24,000 plus in Rupp.

The spectrum gets pretty wild

His hair is hilariously awful.
Great shot-blocker, though.

It really is.
I mean we went from this:
To this:
K-Fund may need to revoke his haircut stipend.

Oh, it has declined significantly. The lower bowl is so full of old blue hairs that you feel like you're in an old folks home. They pay their $2,000-5,000 per seat to the K-fund and figure that's enough support, I suppose. I hope the seats are reconfigured when Rupp is redone.
