LINK

The link above shows the ticket allocation for the LSU Alabama game. Both schools gave 2000+ tickets to students out of a 17000 ticket allocation for the game

The ticket office has said that for the 20000 ticket allocation, students will only be getting 2000. Taken out of that 2000 will also be the band, tigerettes and tiger hosts and bullshite like that

Thanks JJ

I get where you're coming from. Since it's a "College" Football National Championship, you would think that students would get the largest allotment of tickets and not alumni, donors, and Government officials

Some Duke alumni purchased the entire allotment of student tickets for the Chick-fil-a bowl and are giving them to students at no cost. Now I'm sure this has more to do with Duke's desperation to make sure the Georgia Dome is full after their showing at the ACCCG but the gesture should still be appreciated.

Students will sell the tickets, not use them.

I agree that students should get more tickets. If it weren't for them, there wouldn't even be a university. They are also the ones who could use face value tickets the most. I do like the idea of rewarding students who have attended Auburn sporting events during the year. Some kids are true fans who drive to away games and attend all home games. Others sell their season tickets to make money, and if they win the lottery will go to their first football game of the year. I'd like to see the students get at least 5,000 tickets. For a 92,000 seat stadium, that still leaves 82,000 tickets which is more than there were for the 2010 BCS game.
