I know it's the SEC CG, but I feel like there's a decent opportunity for a letdown performance by Auburn. 2 miracle wins in a row + beating a #1-ranked 11-0 rival. I doubt they'll spend the whole week reading their newspaper clippings, but even 1-2 meh days of practice is possible, maybe even likely.

True but a team that went 3-9 last year has no business looking ahead or overlooking anyone. Lay it all on the line Saturday and you've got a month to heal up.

To be fair, the read-option is pretty cut and dry when you know what you're doing. It's not like Malzahn is drawing up intricate pass plays. They're going to line up and try to dominate in the trenches like they have all year. Much less of a chance for a let-down in this scenario.

It is always possible, but reports coming out are that the players are business like and focused. Not much messing around and practices have been very good. The team has some good leadership on it and Malzahn has been great at telling them to celebrate the win for the evening, but tomorrow is time to get back to work. The players have done well in buying into that mentality.

It should be a good game though.
