They are either broke as shite or they have some gross fetish for pain. They are coast trash so I wouldn't doubt it's the latter.

At least one of those two games is a W.

Alabama played them every year from the 80s-2005. Glad to see the game back on the schedule.

I remember when Southern Miss used to be a pretty good game. What in the hell happened to them?

Didn't Southern Miss had to give Nebraska back their home game so they could buy out their coach last year? So yeah, I would say they are desperate.

Bama has to pad that tough schedule with some cupcakes.

At the time I think USM would have kept the game going if Bama would have just agreed to neutral officials. But it always had to be at Bama with SEC officials.
Sadly, USM is in a state where they have to play the big boys at their place on their terms to get a paycheck.
USM should go independent again and play 8 to 9 road games a year just to get the money. CUSA has done nothing for the USM program.

FAU and Western Carolina are juggernauts though.

My first game as a student at Bama was against USM in Legion Field on a hot as balls afternoon. USM had a young QB from Kiln Mississippi with a blonde mullet. He played awesome. Whatever happened to him?

Bama at least got off weeks before playing at Ole Miss and at LSU.

He is struggling with a response right now because AU played them this year.

No. They wanted Bama to come to H-burg. That was not going to happen....ever. Bama traveled to La Tech in the early 90s and that is the only time I remember them going to a non-BCS school.

We have a bye before Ole Miss instead of TAMU or Florida? Good thing we run the SEC scheduling office
