The thread about the high school team who never punts had me reminiscing about my old high school days. I started thinking about the notable athletes who were in my graduating class. Here are some I can think of for my school. Who are some if y'all's?

Germantown High School class of '96 (I know I'm old).

Cindy Parlow- played for the US Womens' soccer team in the Olympics (won 2 golds and a silver).

Cory Peterson- WR at OM

Courtney Leavitt- kicker at USCe

Terence Patterson- WR at Harvard

I guess Cam Lawrence is the most notable now. Magnolia Heights has a very good baseball program now...I think we recently got an early commitment from one of their freshmen or sophomores. So they must be good.

There are too many for me to name from Tishomingo County.

Richie Harrelson (aka "the Iuka Bazooka") played baseball for OM. He was also on the USM coaching staff when they played in the College World Series.

This guy is also from Iuka.

Jared Cook - TE for the Rams
Austin Shepherd - OL at Alabama
Juwuan James - OL at Tennessee
CJ Uzomah - TE at Auburn

I haven't kept up too much with the quality players that have come out since I graduated in '09. I would guess two of the last three will be in League after this season.
