Hey how did yalls game against Oklahoma go the other night?

Not that it really matters, but UT won the East in 2007, 2004, 2001, 1998 and 1997 - won the SECCG in 97 and 98 and lost the rest

And ps, just because you are a bama fan, it doesn't mean you're smart, good at football, or even good looking.
You just crushed any self worth I had. I literally thought all of those things went hand in hand with the college program you were a fan of.

Thanks man. But to go check my kid out from school.
Good game Saturday night. Going to be a great game between y'all and FSU IMO.

Bitch? Me? While your pussy arse was sucking on a bottle I was fighting a war in Iraq. The last thing I am is a bitch, bitch.
I dont give a damn if you were the first horse in Pickets charge, you are acting like a bitch because you assuming you have no chance to win against Saban. I think even a Wake Forest fan would call you out for that. And I was an internet tough guy back when Shula was the coach.

All the talent in the world doesn't mean squat without coaching them up. Great high school recruits are great, and needed to reach the top, but without good development afterwards. They'll never reach their full potential, that simple. Saban & Staff development of these great recruits, their game preparation, and good old fashion hard work is why Bama ends up Champions. If Bama's coaches didn't develop the talent we'd be Notre Dame, USC, and other top programs who underachieve lately.

So nick saban is making lsu fans quit liking college football?
while that is a simplistic answer and there are many other factors in this fan's declining interest in the game itself, he is certainly contributing.
That and my own alma mater being unable to field a football coach that has actual game awareness.
Oh nevermind.
I got better shite to do on fall Saturdays. Took me a while to figure that out, but that's just how it is.
How many hours and $$ have I wasted spectating? When I could have been either earning $$ or at least gaining meaningful life experience DOING something, rather than watching other people DO something?
Too much.
I'm done with all of it. The commercialization, the media, the corruption, the faux debt-based prosperity of certain athletic departments (big 3 -- UAT, LSU, UTK), the piped in music, the security bullshite at the games, the prices of everything, the endless commercials (paralleling the NFL there) during TV coverage, satellite providers dropping SEC centric networks...
I could go on but what's the point.
I'm moving on now. And I'm sure that the rest of 'fandom' won't give a shite -- and they shouldn't.
They need to figure this out on their own and some will.
If I ever need a football fix, I'll attend the local HS game. At least, in most cases, HS football hasn't been corrupted with overwhelming $$ and the attendant evil those kinds of funds attract, like flies to a pile of shite (hat tip -->Anthrax the band).

"but I WOULD like Alabama to face some stiffer competition from the East."
I would like to see the East produce some tougher competition. There is not one team that has any consistency.

You should make a few more blunt posts, talking about it will help you work through it.

So you're saying recruiting is the only reason and not coaching up recruits?

Saban is the best of both worlds: He is the best coach of fundamentals in the country as well as the best recruiter. That being said, I don't think everyone else should give up hope. After AJ leaves, there is no guarantee their next QB will be as good or as clutch as he has been. The last 2 years Bama has been beat in the regular season by LSU and A&M. I personally look forward to our yearly battles for years to come, and expect it to be a competitive series
