Since some alter will inevitably start a thread along the lines of "Why Didn't We Have Marshall at QB?" Or "Richt Misses on Another One"

No, the coaches did not screw up recruiting Nick Marshall as a CB. He would not be a good QB for us. He's good because he's not asked to do much through the air and Gus' system does a really good job of putting QB's in good situations. You put him in our offense and make him drop back and throw 20-25 times a game (conservatively) and you'd see he's a below average passer.

Not to mention Murray has proven a lot more then Marshall.

Same thing happened with Cam Newton. He wasn't a good fit for our offensive scheme, and it's not a good long-term strategy to plan your offense around one player unless you own an NFL team.
