Texas fans are pathetic...why the frick would he leave for Alabama when he's built them into the most dominant program since the 90's.

Miles will be glad because it will make him look less retarded than he really is, plus Saban's absence in Tuscaloosa will throw Bama in to the dark ages and his mere presence in Austin will suck the state of Texas dry of recruits which theoretically weakens A&M. This is the best news LSU and it's mediocre and hapless head coach could ever have hoped for.

LSU fans should feel better since Bama would be Saban's second bride to be left at the altar.

Another consideration is that Saban can't go out in public without being swamped by window-licking Bama fans. Going to Austin would be like getting out of prison.

The kind of place where big boosters send private info to FOIA-able email accounts is probably not somewhere Saban would want to work.

That Saban-Texas email happened in January. Then Saban got all his assistants raises. His agent knows the game

I can't imagine the hoards of Wal Mart gumps that annoy Saban to death every time he farts.

As usual, the rantards show their ignorance. Saban isn't going to leave Bama and the idiots who wish he would are dreaming. Saban is perfectly content at Bama. Wishful thinking isn't going to force Saban out of Bama. I agree with a previous poster who said that Florida's handling of Spurrier to USCe was not a death blow to Florida's program. Rantards think that losing Saban was a death blow to the LSU football program. Saban isn't leaving. The guy has a big ego and I believe that he wants to surpass all of The Bear's records. I never understood the definition of butthurt until I read what is posted about Saban by the rantards. I bet that in the last couple of years everyday had a thread about Saban. The man is at Bama, so give it a rest. As long as Saban is at Bama, the LSU message board will always have a thread about him. The rantards need to accept the fact that Saban is at Bama and he isn't coming back. It's time to quit rehashing the past and focus on the present.

It makes sense....as great a recruiter Saban is, it's still a huge endeavor recruiting against the rest of the SEC, but at UT he would essentially own the entire state of Texas, and still have picking power for elite prospects in other southern states that he has now. In-state recruiting is always easier for major college programs, and TX's talent base blows away AL's every year.
Plus as well funded the Bama FB program has been at UA, IMO it pales next to what Saban can get at UT...

There will be pressure anywhere that you're able to build a dynasty. TX very much included.
If this happened 11 months ago, why is it just now coming out. Seems weird to me.

PR move to force more pressure on new AD to fire Mack Brown.

I thought I heard a rumor from a neighbors cousin that paramedics were called to Nicks house late in the night?
