Room 237 is a sad excuse for a documentary
It's not supposed to reveal and explain some hidden truth within The Shining. The whole point of the documentary is to show how crazy some people can go in dissecting the most meaningless things in a work of fiction.

I'm used to being in the minority with my opinions, if it was the other way around I'd be worried.
I can all but promise that most people that saw Room 237 have never heard of Jay Weidner or seen his work.
Maybe you forget that Kubrick was killed after showing Eyes Wide Shut to the studio execs. He was immediately killed, the film was drastically edited and released. It's the ultimate illuminati movie.. he was always interested in exposing things, he went a bit too far with his original version of EWS, and it cost him his life.
