Are they really 1s or do they just look like 1s? I'm not familiar with typewriter print

I think lower case l's and 1s look the same on a typewriter.
Considering the amount of double meanings in the movie, people that look at this stuff think it's no coincidence that he choice to use the word A11 repeated over and over. There are a few other things with the typewriter.. the name of it translates from german to english as 'eagle' (the name of the lunar lander for Apollo 11). It also changes colors during the movie, getting darker and darker.

The Shining is a great classic horror movie. I never thought of Scream as a horror movie, but the movie the Strangers gave me the creeps for days.

Any Friday the 13th
Part 2 is my favorite, Jason first appears wearing an old burlap sack over his head, one eye hole cut out. Creepy.

first horror film I ever all on tv was Killer Clowns From Outer Space (Although most would consider it comedy)it really creeped me out cause I hated clowns as a kid
a few months later I saw The Howling & Silver Bullet both on tv and right after I di I kept having the same nightmare of a giant wolf creature lunging at me right before i'd wake up had the same nightmare or about 5 weeks

Halloween is great. The remake from 2007 is pretty cool in the beginning showing him as a kid.
The first 30-45 min of Jeepers Creepers is pretty solid.
The Exorcist is quite creepy. I love scary movies this time of year.

I've seen both Shining movies and read the book. Both the book and original movie were awesome. The remake a few years ago was a closer adaptation. Can't wait to read King's new book, Doctor Sleep. Supposed to be about Danny as an adult.
Are you SERIOUS?!!!! He's writing a sequel to The Shining?
That's incredible news!

There are a ton of things from that movie that indicate it was a confession. Just a free bee, what room was that boy walking to in that scene? Not the same room number as in the book, but mysteriously the same room number as miles from earth to the moon. The typewriter scene that says "A11 work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Instead of 'Ls" it's ones, as in Apollo 11. There are literally hundreds of things in that movie that elude to a confession. Lets not forget that Kubrick was murdered later in his life when he made Eyes Wide Shut (the ultimate illuminati movie). He was killed after showing the movie to the studio executives, they drastically edited the movie after the murder and released a very different movie from the one Kubrick originally made. Also, just because some moon footage was faked doesn't mean we never went there. It's wrong to assume I don't think we went to the moon because I believe Kubrick did film some footage here in a studio.
Dude, I know all of this. I've spent quite a bit of time reading it.
I, as well as most people, also realize that the implications are a bit far reaching...to say the least.
I also realize that people attempt to make this connection by stating that since Kubrick was working on 2001 A Space Odyssey at the time of the landing, he must have used the massive studio to also film the moon landing. Massive conspiracy!
Come on, man!

Let's think about The Shining/Moon Landing conspiracy rationally.
Here's an image of the letter Jack types...
At first glance, the Ls do appear to be ones. However, they aren't. Look at the Ls in the word "dull" and "play". They are the exact same.
Now, check this out. Even on today's computers, on this site as a matter of fact, lower case Ls look like this: l
Looks exactly the same as the letter in The Shining. It's a standard lower case L.
Also, a big fuss is made about Danny wearing an Apollo 11 sweater. Why? The Apollo program was a source of American pride in the late 60s and 70s. A kid wearing anything related to NASA would have been very Americana...which is what Kubrick was attempting to portray - the normal all American family.
The normal all American family thrust into this nightmare is what makes the story scary.

...and then people will say stuff about the filmed footage of the moon landing.
What about the waving flag? How can a flag wave in essentially a vacuum?
Kubrick was known for going far over budget to make certain every little detail down to the carpet and lamp shade was perfect.
If he filmed the moon landing, he would have been advised by a team of scientists and government consultants.
Don't you think he would have noticed the flag waving in his shot? I mean, we're talking about the most detailed perfectionist in cinematic history. How did Kubrick not notice something like the flag waving in his film?
The answer: Because Kubrick didn't film the moon landing.
Not every waving flag needs a breeze - at least not in space. When astronauts were planting the flagpole they rotated it back and forth to better penetrate the lunar soil (anyone who's set a blunt tent-post will know how this works). So of course the flag waved! Unfurling a piece of rolled-up cloth with stored angular momentum will naturally result in waves and ripples, no breeze required.
