I went to Ole Miss and cheer for LSU because I'm from Baton Rouge. My friends have talked so much shite since last year about this game and I've kept quiet. This was the game I was most worried about. I can't tell you how many shite talking texts I got when Vegas made Ole Miss the favorite in pre-season and I didn't respond to one.

I don't want players hurt, I'm just cracking up at their confidence being shattered by the last couple of weeks.

I agree. LSU was always going to score points in this game. Now they'll do it against a few backups. We'll see if LSU can slow down the Ole Miss offense at all. That's what has me worried.

Rarely is this a blow out so fully expect LSU will have to come to play to win, no matter who is out

Sometimes having so many players out helps, for whatever reason

I'm telling you, if Jeff Scott is out, that is huge. Despite them trying to downplay it.

He is the perfect back to beat LSU. Small, super fast, and shifty. We can handle bigger backs all day long.

I hate losing Scott's speed, but I don't think this will effect our offensive production.

Scott has the ability to take one to the house at any time...but lacks the ability to carry a defender or two an extra few yards. Walton has breakaway speed and Mathers is a well balanced back.

Those are the backs that give us trouble. Small, fast, and shifty is what does well against us. Especially screens and out to the flat.

Can't watch youtube at work :sigh:

I am sure you have talent to replace your players, I just know Scott is proven and is exactly the kind of player that hurts us.

But like I said, it should be a good game.

nah....maybe in certain sprints. But Scott is faster as far as running the length of the field. But it isn't that much. Walton has a better body and can take a defender an extra few yards.

Like I said, Scott is our best chance for a break-out play....but JW could actually have a better YPC.

If you're just talking about offense, I'll let the A&M reference go.
