The "real" Drake loves JFF

Obviously photoshopped. There isn't an autograph on that jersey

drake is homerun hitter. Yeldon is on base.
now does it make sense, swamper?

This is a Bama running back fap thread started by an LSU fan and you come in here and ruin it with JFF and Drake bromance?

Yeldon but he damn sure needs to improve on catching the ball out of the backfield.

I will always take a punisher like Richardson, gurley, hill over smaller finesse scat/speed backs.
I loved ware for this reason. That was actually his drawback, he looked for contact so much, he couldn't find the fricking hole.

Yeldon has fumbling problems, the last few great Bama backs did not, that's a huge knock against him.

I don't think henry will be that great tbh, but we'll see

Yeldon is more talented, but Drake is less likely to get dropped at the line of scrimmage. They're both great backs.

I like both but I feel like Drake may end up having the better career. He's faster and seems to run with a little bit more power. He also seems to hit the hole more decisively than Yeldon.

I know TJ is bigger but he just doesn't run behind his pads which makes him easier to bring down. Now I'm not downing TJ. He could start just about anywhere, but it seems Drake is harder to bring down. I know he has a lower center of gravity.
Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.
Drake runs like a bat out if hell from the snap. It's great, it's been working. But his vision might as well be zero. I love the guy but all he does is grab the ball and duck his head and run until someone trips him.
Yeldon isn't as fast as Drake and needs SOLID blockers to be 100% effective but he can shake guys in a phone booth. And at his size it's amazing. And he almost NEVER gets taken down by one guy. He's had tackles for loss more impressive than drakes best run. And Drake has made me a fan of his.

Does not compute. Hill sneakily avoids contact, and rightfully so. His balance is far and away better than anyone's in the league save Gurley. And it might be better than his.

This. Hill reminds me somewhat of Lacy. Big guy with good vision and burst. Lacy probably more powerful, but Hill is faster.

Hmmmm. Guess you haven't seen Yeldon get dropped, literally by his shoestrings, at least 2x/game.

Yeldon and Drake are both physical runners that get a lot of YAC. Do you even watch our games?
Am I missing the sarcasm here? Neither of them is a physical back.
How is it that, so far in this thread, Rickydaddy has the most objective take and accurate evaluation of Bama's RBs. He's even spot on with Fowler.

Hmmmmm. Guess you haven't seen Yeldon break tackles and fall forward through contact nearly everytime he touches the ball.

Yeldon pops a few guys a game, but he's no TR or EL.

break tackles
Not often. Make them miss maybe.

fall forward
One will usually fall forward when he's on the receiving end of a shoestring tackle.

Agreed. He's not built to punish defenders or move piles. Still has the potential to be a great back for us.

They are different. Ones not better or worse than the other.
