The winner of the LSU Florida game wins their division. Yes or no?

I say so. UGA may have used up their magic and UF will be favored to get them in Jax. I think if LSU can get past their toughest game to date they will have some serious mo and will be supremely confident the rest of the way.

Not really.
UF is undefeated in SEC play and LSU already has one loss.
Game really means more to LSU at this point. Another SEC loss for LSU, and that probably seals Bama going to ATL.

Not so...we haven't lost in SEC yet and a lost to a west team isn't a deal breaker...we can win out and still go to Hotlanta. Your backs are to the wall and that worries me...lose and your done.

No. It's going to be really hard for LSU to win the west.

Not at all.
LSU could easily beat UF and lose to A&M or Alabama.
UF could easily beat LSU and lose to UGA or SCar.

I think the Florida fans in this thread are confused.

i think its true for florida, but maybe not for lsu. lsu cant really lose another game and expect to go to atl.

The only thing this game truly assures, is that the loser has no shot of getting to the NCG (not that UF had a great chance to begin with, especially after losing to Miami early along with the injuries).

The fact that Alabama and Florida both play them later on makes that game virtually pointless

OP says "winner" what I am saying is the loser if UF can still compete...and yes...if LSU wins then they could win the west...but we have no SEC Ls on our resume....so we DONT HAVE to win. And of course winning means squat for us as we have tough games left...but LSU would be hurt badly.

No. Pretty sure LSU still has to get by Bama and A&M. That's saying a lot for a rebuilding defense, no matter how good the offense is.

If UF loses, they can still realistically win the East.
If LSU loses, they have no shot.
If LSU loses, they have no shot.

A tough row to hoe, for sure.

Not really.
For LSU, this game is an elimination game; winning it only helps us win the division in the sense that it doesn't knock us out of the race.
For Florida, the division is still going to come down to the Georgia contest and avoiding the upset from South Carolina and Missouri, win or lose.

Yes or no?
Maybe.
Loser?
Almost assuredly not.

I know from a technical standpoint no, since both teams can obviously lose again but I think the winner has huge momentum and this game spring boards them to ATL.. Personally I think that team is UF.
