Nope. Our fans (and especially our students) are used to being able to go back out to the tailgate at halftime, chug a few beers, and keep their buzz going the rest of the game.

The AD has done a piss poor job of publicizing this, as still hoards of students keep trying to come back for the second half, and are turned away at the gate.

It really is a retarded policy IMO.

SEC is no alcohol (at least not in the public seats) and no pass out means folks are hopefully more sober because they can not refuel at halftime. Can you imagine heated SEC games with full bore booze all game?

In hockey terms it is like cutting beer sales off at the start of the 3rd period so (in theory) folks can sober up to drive home. It is not a retarded policy at all.
