The Wet Weather in Baton Rouge Who Does It Benefit?

LSU or Auburn?
Off the field:
I'm sure Auburn is glad it's raining so they have to put up with the abuse from LSU fans all day - keeping them inside may work into Auburn's favor.
On the field:
I don't think it matters - LSU will pound the ball all night long.

Auburn. Their offense is like a can of worms every time the ball is snapped.

I think wet weather is always better for the underdog.

It should benefit Auburn.

Rain always benefits the more physical team, LSU w/o question.

Auburn. LSU's defensive players will have a harder time changing direction and recovering from misreads.

This.
It seems like slop neutralizes talent and emphasizes coaching. Much less room for error.

generally id say rain and bad weather helps the under dog just because the field can slow people down and turnovers become a wild card.
however we are bigger and stronger than the barn and we have hill in our backfield so we might just run right over them.
if hill was out this game then auburn would be helped alot because blue and hilliard can't do near the damage hill can.

It would seem to favor Auburn, but another possibility is that LSU's running game will be hurt less than Gus' spread. Pounding the rock over and over suffers less in inclement weather, I'd say.

It benefits Les. Much easier to get the grass out of the ground.

It'll slow our passing attack but with 4 capable backs running behind the best OL in the SEC its gonna be tough sledding for Auburn's paper bag defense.

Moot point. It won't be raining during the game.

i believe auburn will score no more than 10 tonight...the crowd, the weather, the LSU d and #8 playing lights out - it will be over early, real early.

we use to have four capable backs but now i think its more like hill for anything we need, terrance to the outside/shotgun guy and then brazil

The hurry up offense is nearly impossible to defend on a wet field.

I don't know but it pissed rain here in Houston last night. Unreal.
If it rains that hard there will be no benefit to anyone.

Def benefits extreme underdog.

BR probably got around 3 inches or so but the front moved faster than expected and its already east of baton rouge. Not much rain other than spotty showers are expected the rest of the day. So it should be fairly dry.

Considering that was LSU excuse for losing to Penn State probably auburn so they will only lose by 17 instead of getting blown out.

what are some of you smoking? Rain always favors the running game and hurts the passing game
LSU has a stable of backs to run all night.
