bit different because penn state was built different than auburn. they were built for sloppy play on slow fields. auburn isn't built for that under the gus bus. he needs a fast track to truly operate.

756 The Wet Weather in Baton Rouge Who Does It Benefit? what are some of you smoking? Rain always favors the running game and hurts the passing game LSU has a stable of backs to run all night.

First no one thinks auburn is winning this game but I think the weather favors the WR as they know the route the DB do not. JMO of course.

I'm sure Auburn is glad it's raining so they have to put up with the abuse from LSU fans all day

i believe auburn will score no more than 10 tonight...the crowd, the weather, the LSU d and #8 playing lights out - it will be over early, real early.

We scored 10 last year on you with our worst team possibly ever

since then you lost like all of your defensive starters and your QB has zero effect on how much we score

Also, if it's over as early as you say, backups will come in and Auburn will definitely score more than 10... You suck at knowing shite about football

Auburn wins 56-0

It seems it would favor AU, considering the amount of misdirection plays Malzahn runs.

Considering that was LSU excuse for losing to Penn State probably auburn so they will only lose by 17 instead of getting blown out.

"Wet weather" wasn't the excuse against Penn State. The playing surface was absolutely unplayable.

The game was notable for its poor field conditions. Eight state high school championship games had been played at the stadium in recent weeks, but the turf was replaced immediately after the last games on December 19. The Champs Sports Bowl, played ten days later, badly damaged the new turf. The grounds crew worked frantically over the next three days in an attempt to get the field in shape for the Capital One Bowl, but ultimately failed. As a result, this was the last Capital One Bowl to be played on grass as artificial turf was installed at the Citrus Bowl several months later.

I like how lsu fans are so uninformed. Qb runs are what has hurt Auburn this year. Mett is a statue. No one is worried about Hill.

wrong

Your defenders are going to be falling all over themselves trying to defend the hurry up offense. They know which direction they are going.

Arkansas State's top ball carrier averaged 6.2 YPC and Washington State's top 2 ball carriers averaged 7.6 and 7.2 YPC respectively.

You do know that Auburn is actually ranked higher than LSU in rushing offense?

The wet field will help LSU more because LSU is better equipped to run the ball between the tackles, stop the run on defense, and control the clock.

It helps Auburn but LSU is better equipped to deal with it. Shitty weather probably just narrows the margin of victory.

I've seen plenty an underdog get their doors blown off in inclement weather.

It's a case-by-case basis. I don't think there's some inherent advantage afforded to the lesser talented team. They're affected by the weather too.

LSU is well equipped to win this type of game due to their depth at RB. They'll roll 3 or 4 guys out there that will give Auburn fits.
