ESPN's website right now has that quote on the front page.

Don't we get a few crazy weekends that feature surprising upsets each year?

The following teams have a chance to make today interesting:

Auburn
Tennessee
Troy
Purdue
Michigan State
Arizona State

A few of those teams win, and suddenly today becomes interesting.

No it doesn't. Sportscenter becomes interesting. No one is watching any of those games other than Auburn v Lsu.

Finally got it going last week, albeit vs. a 1AA school. Hopefully they don't shite the bed offesnively again, the D at least is a godsend.

Tennessee is not going to make anything interesting.

There are potential upsets every week. When watching Auburn get whacked by LSU is the most interesting game on the schedule, it's safe to say it's a shitty week.

Football today sucks. I mean, gameday is in North fricking Dakota. Not good at all. I'll watch a couple today but I think that'll just be out of habit.

And if none of those teams win, which is distinctly possible -- indeed, likely -- then it remains boring as hell. Michigan State and Purdue seem the most likely, and they'll be beating a mediocre Notre Dame and an underwhelming Wisconsin. Even their own fans wouldn't claim these are huge victories.
