Does the defense improve? Does Marshall shake the nerves and settle in?

I'll be honest, I really have no clue about Arkansas State so I'll hold my prediction until some of you guys educate me.

NM will perform better.

Defense will see more run heavy offense.

I think we win, but score may be very similar to last week.

I'll predict a 38 to 21 AU win

Don't know much about them other than they have a good running game.

Defense will improve, and NM will have a better game, but will the WR's?

RA'd for a sticky.

I don't really know enough about ASU this year to know what to think. Hopefully our offense will start to gel a little bit more, particularly in the passing game. We just need to keep building on what we were starting to do in the second half of the WSU game on that front. I'm sure that we'll see our DTs play more on the inside of the guard than we did against WSU, and you have to think that Monty earned some more reps with the way he played. If Garrett can play this week it should help our linebackers out in the running game more than only having Therezie out there every play. As great as Therezie is, he's too important in pass defense to have playing along the line on a highly regular basis. I'm guessing that we'll try to have Garrett and Therezie both in the game as much as possible for the sake of having our best athletes on the field. Should be an interesting game.

41-28 auburn.

the worst auburn team of our lifetimes still managed to beat a middle of the pack SunBelt team... No reason to believe a much improved AU team shouldn't handle an above-average SB team.

Also, ark states opponent last week was Ark Pine Bluff... They're on the same level as Ala A&M. In other words, they were supposed to clobber them.

Arky State/Arky Pine Bluff Box Score

Arky State had 500 yards rushing and (4) rushers over 100 yards. I know it's Pine Bluff, but that's impressive.

Just got some tickets. If we lose this game, I think we will have big problems. But let's hope that doesn't happen. I think some Auburn fans and ASU fans are giving ASU a little more credit than they deserve yet. I say:
Auburn 34
ASU 21
