It's the best because a school like Texas A&M can show up, play a team that had beaten them 10 of the last 12 times they had played and waste them by four touchdowns after one year in this conference.

Alabama spanked that arse in 2008 before we even assumed our ultimate form.

It was all part of the plan. We knew Tommy Bowden would resign and Dabo would get the reigns. That mother fricker has been a head coach for almost 5 years....... DABO frickIN SWINNEY. He was the WR coach under Mike Dubose in 1999 people....

Just b/c SEC has been winning a lot of titles doesn't mean SEC as a whole is the top conference

if it was just one team winning every title your argument would make sense...maybe. 4 different SEC teams have won National Titles in this run.

Duke and UNC are top basketball programs every year and win titles or come close but that doesn't mean ACC is top conference every year.
Duke and UNC don't win a National Title every year. I atleast see where you're coming from with this attempt, but it's still a fail.

If SEC is so great why does a SEC team go undefeated or only 1 loss, 2 at the worse, ever single year. Really should be a bunch of 4-4 teams. LOL

I feel dumber having read this.......

please respond....it's entertaining at this point.

SEC titls are all basically one program Alabama and actually 4 of them are Saban and Miles only onoe was Saban's warm and talented leftovers and then MIles proceeded to turn LSU into a clown show who chokes in the big games.

Auburn's title was a one-man show team, and they bought that guy and they been so horrible last two years that it doesn't seem worth it, preety much negates the title. Florida titles were really just Tebow.

The rest of the programs aren't going to win a title any time soon. FSU, Clemson, Miami, G Tech, BC all won titles, and VA Tech made title game against FSU when they had dog torture boy.

SEC is top heavy every year like every other conference but the bottom of SEC is worse than anybody.

the students ALWAYS rush the field, win or lose really. It is about having fun, meeting players. That's how we roll and we don't apologize for it.

Rushing the field for a loss sounds like a dark place

Yo crush, I'm honestly really interested in how you see the Carolina/Clemson game going this year. Is it too early for some predictions? TIA

You do realize the last team to win back-to-back SEC titles was Tennessee in 97-98 right?

LOL, college basketball has a playoff where they have to win 6 games in a row to be the champ. Football is set up to ensure a SEC team wins the title b/c it is all subjective and essentially leeft up to ESPN who plays in title game. Lot easier to play a 1 game series than win 6 in a row, and a lot of the time the loser in the title game is a total pretender like LSU or Notred Dame, these would be 1st round upsets in a March Madnes tournament. LOL

My point is if SEC has a lot of awesome teams, how is one , maybe 2 teams able to dominate the league each year? You think they would rough each other up, you see this in ACC basketball a lot, everybody beating everybody. We all know Bama going to take the prize in SEC, so why is SEC the best, they jsut a doormat to Bama. Clemson just as capable of losing to Bama, so is Wake Forest. So why aren't 'we just as awesome? LOL

To be fair, Clemson's win over UGA was more convincing then Bama's win over UGA in sec title game. UGA really gave that one away, they were better team.
