I think ACC is actually the best conference with traditional powers FSU, Miami, Va Tech, Clemson and solid programs like G Tech, NC State, and now adding Lousville, Syracuse. It's not our fualt Miami and Va Tech and some others are in a dark place right now, but if you haven't noticed, a lot of the traditional top programs are in a dark place. USC, Texas, LSU, Tenn, Michigan, etc
So when tradiotinally good ACC teams are down, its just "oh not our fault whatever" but when SEC teams are down

SEC has become a weak conference as Florida, Auburn, Tenn, LSU, UGA, even Kentucky are half the man they used to be.
the SEC is weak?

because they've won the last how many National Titles now?

It's not our fault either

Because we are in such a dark place right now....two years removed from playing for it all, a few plays away from knocking off Bama and having a chance to play for it again last year, likely a top 10 team going into next weekend, and a chance to sign the best recruiting class our school has ever seen. It's a dark place down in Baton Rouge.

How much does it suck knowing that no matter what you do, you will never get an invite to the SEC and you will always be viewed as SC's little brother?

A dark place as opposed to what? Is Clemson not in this dark place? You guys construct actual gravestones for just winnning the fricking Chicken Bowl. You rush the field for just beating a SEC team. How embarrassing

First non-SEC team to beat two top 10 SEC teams back to back in football history.

How many teams have ever even had the opportunity to do this? I imagine I could count them on one hand.

Such an irrelevant stat. It's like when LSU fans throw around their record against ranked teams at home at night in the month of October.

I like playing in ACC, being the underdog is fun, aand I like the schools we play. I liked it better before the expansions outside of the addition of Va Tech but we have a pretty good group of schools.

I don't see how we can be viewed as SC's little brother when we have dominated that rivalry. A few good years doesn't erase that. LOL

SC is actually only better historically than 3 ACC programs, NC State, Duke and Wake. It is one of the worse large state school football programs. LOL

As I poinedo ut, they went 1-3 against Arkansas while going 4-0 against Clemson so batting .500 against evenly matched teams. :)

I guess tnet is the best forum along with the ACC being the greatest conference...

Dude, they always rush the field, even after beating Duke or Wake FOREST or the Citadel. It's about having fun, they go out to meet the players. These are 17-21 year olds.

I'm not a big fan of Tnet, they always accuse me of being a "coot" and I always thought that sounds like a racist word and I think some of them kind of mean in that way. I wish I could ban some peple from being Clemson fans. LOL What can you do and it brings them some happiness before going back to work on a garbage truck in Pickens County. LOL

wait a sec....you just used SC's record against another team to make your winless record against them look not so bad.

did that really just happen?

Clemson recruits really well. They should be winning the acc every year. This was a good start, no excuses.

I don't think much about the headstone thing. Or the touching of the rock.

I tell you one thing though, the tv network really showed off our pre-game ritual in a way that hasn't been done before and people round the country been talking about how awesome it is. That is going to help recruiting. Clemson = Most fun college, it always has been, people just don't know about it.
