I really want to go to that game but that's insane.
Think about this - I go to the orange bowl every year and I only pay about $100 for upper lower bowl seats

First, you provide no data to support your premise. Second, it's simply a matter of supply and demand economics. If the demand goes down, you will definitely see the ticket prices go down to attract more customers. The high prices tell me the demand is also high.

Wrong, the supply is rigged. If every single ticket entered the open market, we could talk about supply and demand.

The economy has been bad the past few years, but here in Fla the tick is upward and real estate is now moving back up in demand.
College football is expensive...but the atmosphere at gamedays around the south is like nothing else. Prettiest girls on earth, pagentry and tradtion, college kids and old timers mixing and did I mention pretty girls? Oh....almost forgot...some of the hardest hitting smash mouth football anywhere. 20.00 for parking? Who the frick cares?

t's because the cheapest endzone upper deck tickets for UGA-LSU and UGA-SC are $190 per ticket on Stub Hub.
You could always become a New Mexico State fan. They sellin season tix for 49 bucks. That's for 7 home games.
Even at that price they only half fill their stadium.

I've heard the NFL has an attendance problem, but I'm not aware of an attendance problem for CFB.
Costs to attend NFL games are unreal to me. I'll put my money into a good home entertainment system and just watch from here.

I've decided to go to a SEC away game for UGA games once a year. Spend money, but meeting fans on both sides and traveling in the South is worth it.

In many cases the home experience is far superior to the live game experience now.. so there ya go.
