This is long overdue.
I was sponsored academically and given money while at A&M. Time for the football players to be eligible for some reasonable cash also.
To me $600/mo across the board seems reasonable. Gives them money for some clothes and they can afford to take their girlfriend to a movie.
This is proposing pay for football players only.
If a school can't afford to pay out $600K/year to the players maybe they should reconsider whether they should be in D-1.

They're already getting up 17k CASH(tax free) every year. Does not include tuition,book,free medical,the best
tutors, WTF? Love to see someone get a job fresh outta HS that pays that much in cash and benefits.
