Here is some Big 12 vs SEC perspective.

quote:

Iowa State: Jack Trice Stadium Constructed: 1975 Recent renovation: 2007 Capacity: 56,800 Coming soon: Iowa State will have the Big 12's third-largest stadium in August 2015 when a recently announced $60 million expansion project is completed. Jack Trice Stadium is getting a new south end zone side, with upper and lower bowls, premium club seating and a new HD video board. The project will boost capacity to 61,000.

61k for 3rd largest. I think when LSU finishes they'll be 3rd... Or maybe BAMA. Either way it'll be just above 100k.

That pic makes it look pretty intimidating. You are completely surrounded now, and the field looks sunk down in there. Not sure if they will raise it when they start laying the grass though. can't wait to hear how loud it's going to be.

Actually I believe I heard that they had another 6 inches of dirt to remove after they got all of the cranes and steel out. Not sure if they have already done that or not at this point.

Is there a 3d seating site out yet for new kyle? I thought there was one posted in this thread but I'm having no luck.

It was posted over in that thread on the main board like ten pages back. I can't find it either though.

Got my 2014 seats. I'm in the S/SE 2nd deck. Killer all seats compared to the top of the damn zone last year.

Anyone know what's up with the 2 middle sections on the lower east side? Are they getting special types of benches?

That's "Prime East Bench," not student section, so I imagine there is going to be some designation to tell the difference

Hope this is not a stupid question. For you construction gurus: in terms of time, difficulty, and complexity, what percentage of the overall project will be complete at the end of Phase 1?
