So the question is, would I rather have a mythical national championship or real life success?

I'm not saying Bama wasn't the best team in any of their last 3 championships...just bringing up the fact that we wouldn't see games like the Giants v Pats back in 06 or 07 if NFL voted the 2 best teams in.
