Added benefit from the visits today. All of the promotion of Mizzou. Yeah, they announce other visits too (i.e. Oregon is visiting ESL in the near future), as they should, but the coach promoting his kids is also helping get Mizzou's name out there. Been tweeting all day long nothing but Mizzou jerseys.

How could they go any further than the entire east side grand stands?

If they are done building down that sideline…it ends at about the 20 yard line. That's not the entire east side grand stands. So to clarify, are they going to continue building down the sideline, or is it done at the 20.

You might look at the picture. There are clearly concrete columns all the way down the east side. And I hate to spell this out to a supposed "fan" but that last section is going up late because lighting banks and civil site work couldn't be completed in that area until after the season.

Apparently Ofodile moved up his commit date. Paid article though so I'm not sure when it was moved to.

Saw that. Some trying to say that because he just visited OU, it's a good sign for OU. I think it may have just as much to do with Lock no longer waiting around. Time will tell.

Sunkett interview playing now. Took 7 players on unofficial to see facilities and practice, along with educational tour. GP and staff have finally taken an interest in their kids. Sat down with GP 4-5 years ago with Demetrius Johnson to talk about how Mizzou can get kids out of ESL. Combined with new heights GP has taken program to and more kids want to go there. Mizzou's perception used to be as a basketball school. Now more of a football school. Add being in the SEC and kids want to play in the SEC.

On Beckner: Humble kid, taking his time. Strengths: Athletic ability. 6' 4 1/2" 296 lbs. 4.8 in the 40. Agile. Much like Richardson. Sheldon was there. Him and Beckner were surprised he was there. Richardson had good conversation with Beckner, watching DLine drills. Meeting Richardson had a positive effect and passed a lot of knowledge to Beckner. Beckner will go through the process, but right now, Mizzou is right there at the top of the list. Every kid wants to play for a winner and Mizzou is a winner. Finished #5 in the country. And Mizzou is only going to get better as they have top prospects committing to them. MY FAVORITE PART: Why go to an Alabama, Auburn or Oregon when there is a winning program right in your own backyard and family can go right down I-70 and watch you play only a couple hours away. Beckner put on 20 lbs between sophomore and junior year.

On Strong: One of better running backs out of the area if healthy. Has had bad luck for a couple years. Great size. 6' 1" 210 lbs. Explosive. 4.3 int the 40. 10.5 in the 100. Is an every down type of back. Great hands. Needs to work on pass protection.

Thomas: Mizzou offered. Only 2 or 3 freshmen have ever started for him. Damien Nash(at Riverview I believe) and Strong. Of them, Thomas is the best freshman athlete he's ever coached. Does things that can't be taught.

Potentially 12 kids with D1 talent on his team team.

Maybe it was me, but I swear I heard a tone in his voice when talking about the Bama's, Auburn's and Oregon's of the world and why ever go there when Mizzou is right here. Loved it man.

@TJCarpenterWHB: I predict Lee's Summit quarterback Drew Lock will select the Tennessee Volunteers over the Missouri Tigers ... #knoda LINK

Also says he has inside info for making this prediction, hopefully he is wrong

UTk just picked up a 4* QB commit yesterday. That doesn't mean everything but I think it means something.

I wanted to get the recruiting going for Missouri,” Lock said. “I want to be a part of helping the school get guys on board, so hopefully this helps. I think it is evident that I should probably start working on Alex Ofodile. He would definitely be someone that is fun to throw to, as well as Hale Hentges. He is an animal. Those two would be the first two I try to go after. We are actually in a group message right now, and we talk about playing together everyday. I feel like after this goes public I can really start working them harder than I have been and I have a solid chance of possibly getting at least one of those guys.”

I heard the Cusumano / Sunkett interview too. Sounds like Richardson spent considerable time with Beckner selling him on the program.

Mizzou's got to keep winning to keep the momentum.
