I hear ya about the brother. Part of why it sucks. The loss wouldn't be as bad had we landed Hentges in my opinion. As it stands, we have zero offers currently to any TE's that I'm aware of. A different option, though I don't know much about him, is the kid out of Vianney who has already committed to SC. I remember after Hentges committed to Bama, he tweeted out how he'd take a hard look at Mizzou if they offered because it's his state school. Don't know if he's worth a scholarship given our relatively limited numbers this year or if he'd still consider flipping.

Yeah Markway from Vianney might be an option. I think he's pretty entrenched at uSC.

I've heard he's more a blocking TE than a pass catching TE. Has anyone seen him play?

I saw him play once but it was 2 years ago. He would have been a sophomore I guess and he definitely wasn't the show at the time. They had that RB that ended up committing to Iowa but didn't make grades that was the show.

Isn't Terry Beckner's official coming up at the end of next week for the UGA game? Can some of you COMO guys get a billboard together welcoming him? or a banner over the I70 at the lake of the woods exit?
He says he was close to committing last time he visited but decided to wait until NSD. Maybe we can get him this visit?

I don't know if it's an official or unofficial but the word was yes, he's coming for the UGA game. Thought I heard his official will be closer to NSD.

Scout article on how the current commits (plus imator) are doing this year. Confirms Abbington is red shirting and not playing.

And looking at that article, imator is averaging about 50 yards per game receiving. For a guy that I understand doesn't have blocking as his highest priority, it doesn't seem like we lost much as paulie or someone said above.

I don't think i was insinuating he was that big of a loss. I pointed out the loss is his brother won't be coming in 2016.

Thanks to his decommitment, we move up in quality of the signing class. Since I think its ridiculous to weigh number of recruits heavier in team rankings than quality, I adjust the sort order on average stars per player.

Mizzou by losing a 3 star moves up to 27 at Rivals, 34 on Scout, and 30 on 247.

Thanks for leaving imatorbhebhebhebebhbehbe!

with Florida in the lead, do you think Muschamp being fired matters or is it only at Mizzou where coaching continuity matters to recruiting?

Per Coach Kool's tweet today:

Coach Kool @LetsMeetAtTheQB
Off week means recruiting on the road. #Chicago was great today! Off to #Atlanta ! Looking for #DlineZou members

Could he be talking about a great visit with Raequan Williams ?

Love to see him head to the Zou although he seems to be favoring Iowa.

Hard to say who Coach Kool will be visiting in Atlanta. Tons of talent there.

I'm sure others too, but hope he's catching up with Anree Saint-Amour who expressed early interest.

Think we also offered Russell Ude from Georgia.

Just looked and also in Georgia is D'Andre Walker.

Though listed as LB, offers also out in Georgia to Daniel Fennell and Joshua Thomas

I haven't seen Imatorbhebhe reference Mizzou at all when talking about schools he's looking at. I'd count him gone. Regardless, he is gone for now.

This is why I hate early commitments/offers. I forget what coach said it, may be Saban or Muschamp, but I like the idea of if you commit then you commit and if you wanna decommit then you have to sit out. But same goes for a school. If you want to offer then you offer. But once you offer you can not pull it back. Would stop teams from offering 200 kids a year. Throwing out offers just to offer. And offering kids and later not wanting them because they have a shot with a player they perceive as better. As for Imatorbhebhe, hate when a kid decommits but at least he did it early in the season as opposed to December or January.

Sounds like Alex Ofodile is visiting Ole Miss this weekend. Maybe his commitment to Oregon is wavering.
