I had to pinch myself, but I'm still awake. You really made this thread of all threads. You should make a thread asking everybody what their favorite game in which they shutout another team is.

The past two years against Auburn ahve been satisfying.

2004 LSU was fricking vindication, though. They beat us twice in 2003, so to completely bitch-make them on CBS the next year helped remove the sting. Doing it again in 2005, in ATL was pretty sweet, too.

1/9 gets more hilarious over the years because of how it played out. With LSU fans actively cheering for Oklahoma State and not wanting to play Alabama. Campaigning for ANY contended that had half a chance to get in over UA, only to watch them all fall one by one.

Then the talk of a split if it was a close game

Then the game. Oh god. So good

After Eli and Ole Miss beat Bama in 2001, Alabama won 42-7 the next year and sacked Eli at least 5 times..... Of course the next year Ole Miss returned the favor....

One of the more surprising bama games I can recall. Remember watching that one as a young lad in highlands, nc with my family. It was awesome.

It will take a long while to live down 77-0... not sure if that's even possible. But I think most Aggies would agree the last Cotton Bowl was sweet revenge.

Kind of like how the Bama fans were hoping to play Notre Dame instead of Oregon?

you have to admit that it's bullshite that we have to beat you twice to win the NC but you only had to beat us once.

like I said, we are owed a big one against bama at some point. Doesn't have to be this year, doesn't even have to be soon. But at some point in the next 25-30 years or so the football gods owe us big on that deal.

Path to the championship:

LSU: 2-0
Bama: 1-1

Yeah, I really didn't want any part of Oregon. ND was the girl at the club that just broke up with her boyfriend.

You weren't here so you didn't see it.

Bama fan 2011 - "LSU fans are scared because they know OSU is an automatic win, and they know Bama's a tougher challange"

Bama fan 2012 - "I think we match up with Notre Dame better than Oregon."

Happens in other sports all the time.

After what happened in 07, the football gods don't owe y'all a damn thing.

Not bullshite at all. One was a regular season game, the other was the 'ship. Happens all the time in sports.

Bama would have beaten Oregon just like Auburn did in 10 and we did in the 11 opener. It would have been a lot closer than ND though.

LSU '07.

Even though those bitches got a mulligan and got a natty shot with 2 losses, watching their fans cry was worth it.
