Typically the further away from broad street, the older the crowd you'll find in the bar. Depending on the time of day, the crowd will be different in every bar.
In my experience, the best bars to go to on gameday are Blue Sky, Allgood, or Copper Creek (more of a pub but they have $3 home brews). Most days they aren't too crowded (particularly Blue Sky).

Hidden gem. Still relatively unknown but is gaining momentum with the college crowd. I'd definitely recommend it.
